Guaranteed none stop action and intense competition with unprecedented incentives for all pro racers in the pursuit of the coveted title of ‘King of Walton’. Fans asked, we listened and we are introducing a new and exciting event format. The intensity of supercross combined with the speed and physicality of outdoor motocross leading up to the inaugural winner-takes-all, Pro Open Superfinal – the ultimate shootout – the one race in 2016 you cannot miss. The 2016 Parts Canada TransCan will rock your world!

Sunday’s pro Superfinal is a cage match where the most accomplished MX1 and MX2 pro motocrossers go head to head. From the ‘Glory lap’ award, to the mid-moto cash bonus. to the top amateur seeds and a record setting purse, the excitement is baked right in to this unique format.

Pro racers can sign up in advance or at the event. In addition many pro and semi pro riders are eligible to compete in the Amateur GNC August 17-20 ( e.g. age classes) . Amateur classes are limited entry so  sign up in advance is strongly advised for these classes.

Format:
  • MX1 & MX2 timed qualifying sessions, top 19 from each advance to motos
  • MX1 & MX2 4 lap LCQ ­race, top 4 from each advance to motos
  • MX1 & MX2 two X 20 min sprint motos, ­ top 18 from each advance to Super Final
  • Seed Intermediate top 3 from Amateur GNC MX1 & MX2 to Super Final
  • Amateur Canada Cup runs as feature in break before Super Final
  • One time, winner takes all with Super Final program feature.  The Super Final winner is King of Walton after 25+2 laps
Features:
  • the “Passing lane” allows riders one time to gain position during Super Final moto.
  • the “Midway Bonus” awards $500.00 for leading on the halfway lap of Super Final.
  • the “Glory Lap” Award to the first rider to cross the scoring loop on the green flag lap of the moto (instead of the holeshot award)
  • Total pro purse of $30,000.00 ­ $2500.00 per moto for both MX1 and MX2 and $20,000.00 for Super Final.
  • Riders have the option to ride their choice of bike for the Super Final.
  • Pro riders can compete in Amateur week. Youth, and +25 purse classes.
  • Sunday will feature up to four house announcers, from various points around the facility describing the action.
  • Friday complimentary concert entertainment
  • COMP Expo Canada’s biggest outdoor offroad motorsport trade exhibition all weekend
  • Saturday ‘pit party’, amateur awards gala and fireworks show
  • Live streaming of track announcers audio, selective video and race timing all week
  • Expanded live streaming, multi camera video production of Saturday & Sunday for unlimited National and international audience and TV broadcast.
  • Sunday’s Super Final will be produced for television distribution with highlights from earlier motos.

As a incentive for riders, points for all position will count towards the overall.
