For years, the Canadian motocross industry has been asking for something new. Riders, teams and fans have been looking for something different, something unique and something exciting. The folks at Walton Raceway have heard you loud and clear and on this 25th anniversary of the Walton TransCan, we’re excited to introduce Canada’s newest pro event:
Beginning this Month in Vancouver Island, there will be a total of 43 Amateur National Qualifier (ANQ) races spread across twelve regions throughout Canada. Hundreds of participants will be competing for a spot on the gate in hopes of being crowned one of the 2016 Canadian Motocross Amateur Grand National Champions at Walton Raceway. 2016
Riders are encouraged to participate in the Amateur National Qualifier events (ANQs) that rank your positioning for the TransCan. Entry priority is determined by the results from each regionals eries and the regional entry allocations. If allocated positions are not filled lower qualified riders will be accepted .
The Parts Canada TransCan: the Canadian Amateur Grand National Championship & Canadian Grand National Pro Open will not require a specific membership. We encourage racers to support their regional organization or clubs to strengthen and grow Canadian motocross at the grass roots level.
