FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Can I still enter?

Absolutely!  If the class is available to sign-in to on Trackside, there’s still room to enter.  Let’s fill these gates and show Canada what amateur motocross is all about! We’ll take entries until Wednesday August 12, at 10:00am (second practice sessions begin at 10:45am). Sign up HERE

Am I confirmed?

Right now, everyone who has signed up online is a confirmed entry.  We are looking at possible standby lists for a handful of classes, but we will cross that bridge when we get to it!  MRC will be on hand for membership info and checking each racer in – if you don’t already have your MRC membership you can purchase online or at the event for the same price!

How does the gate order for the first moto work again?

Your ANQ results determine a ranking in your respected region. Those regions are drawn to pick who gets first, second, third, etc. Atlantic Canada won the lottery in 2019!

I am a PRO. Can I race?

YES. Sign up today!

Does my Pro National credential get me in for the week for free?

No. Nope. Does Not. Pro Credentials are for Thursday-Saturday only. There is reduced pricing for Pros coming in before those dates.

When can I move into Walton for my #motocation?

If you haven’t already, you should be selecting your move-in time for camping ASAP!  If you need to change your time, or cannot find your email confirming when you are coming, let us know and we can help you out.

How many vehicles am I allowed on my site?

You are allowed one (1) trailer and one (1) vehicle per site.  Additional vehicle passes can be purchased for $20 each (limit of two per site total).  Anything above and beyond two vehicles to your site can be parked in auxiliary parking areas.

What’s your policy on pit vehicles?

We love walking, but we also love our golf carts to get around Walton Raceway – we get it that you may want to bring yours also.  Golf carts are the only pit vehicles allowed, and are permitted as long as they fall under the following parameters:

  • No use of Golf carts ONE hour after final moto.
  • Used by PERMIT ONLY
  • Driver must possess a valid driver’s license and be 16 years or older
  • Must be registered at the Gatehouse upon entry to the facility, or during Amateur Sign-In
  • Limited to a maximum width of 64 inches.
  • No ATVs, Pit Bikes, Scooters, Mules, 6-wheel Gators or high-performance vehicles are permitted (classification as determined by the sole discretion of Walton Raceway).
  • The speed limit is 10 km/hr

Golf Cart passes are available for $20 for the week per golf cart.   Golf Cart usage is a privilege, not a right. Abuse of the privilege will result in pass revocation and golf cart parking for the remainder of the event.

I am not racing. Can I come as a fan and camp all week?

For sure you can, we’d love to have you! We have so many things planned each night, racing is only one part of the entire week!  #motocation

What can I do to help out at the TransCan?

This question gets asked a lot. Most jobs are filled but EVERYONE (near and far) can share our Facebook event, encourage people to come, and go online to buy a ticket. Share this sport we all love with everyone who will listen. Twitter, Instagram or Facebook share the story of our sport. #roadtowalton #motocation #mxcanada #transcan20
